All through college I liked to cook but I didn't love it. It just wasn't very fun to cook for just one person. Then my Senior year of college I moved into a house with some awesome girls who would let me cook for them all the time. This is when I first started to try out many of the recipes I still make today. Then I met my husband and his family loved to travel. However, as an inexperienced traveler who had never been out of the country I had no idea that food and traveled mingled so well. Now we've been to food capitals New York, San Francisco, Italy and Paris all within 2 years. This ignited an even stronger passion to experiment and try out some amazing new ways to cook.
I had always passed on recipes to friends, especially if I found a really good one. However, I never blogged about them. In fact I had another blog I kept (blog) and couldn't imagine trying to keep up with another one. But try as you may domestic life and the adventure of cooking my next plate of something new was becoming so appealing to me and I wanted an outlet to share it through. That's how the Cooking With Court blog began. It's really just a way for me to share with friends my ideas for recipes.
